My mum's birthday
Friday was my mum's lunar birthday. (She only knows her lunar birth date.) As the date changes on the English calender every year and I actually forgotten clean about it this year!
I guess I was too caught up celebrating my own birthday & anniversary(too a birthday) that I didn't notice it.
After a phone call from my bro, I panicked & rushed to Plaza Sing with the sweet companion of Fyn & Mel.
Tracy suggested buying this from P.S so I did.

Tracy suggested buying this from P.S so I did. It's located at Plaza Sing B1, facing Begawang Solo. A small outlet with some very nice cakes, in terms of its taste & looks.
I bought the mango m one and you can see that's a generous half mango given. Best Seller...Almost every other cakes there have the Best Seller tag though.
It's $32 for that but actually it's quite worth it for the taste! I think it's even better than Breadtalk.
Went home & greeted my mum Happy Birthday. The thing about my family is we are not those that openingly expressed ourselves or celebrated birthday as a family thingy. I just felt kinda bad for forgetting it.
More of the cake....

This is the 2nd time I had this cake and I still like it. It's layered with mango, light sponge cake and top the mango moouse. Not too heavy to the taste buds and nicely frangrant. I thought the level of sweetness & sourness (of the mango) is just aptly combined but there might be some other room of thoughts.
Overall it is one of the better cakes I have eaten. I'm a lil' fussy on cakes. I hate it too sweet, too creamy, too dry, too lumpy etc and I am not that big of a cake fan. If the cake I eaten and think it is good, it should be good. Hehe.

It was 9pm and my mum decided to just cut the cake. Dad was bathing and lil' bro was not back yet. So it was awkardly me and my other bro sang the song for me with me being more enthu. about it...or trying to be. Lolx. It is just not our family thing lah. I wish I could have done for mummy though...
After cutting the cake, mum promptly retired to bed. -_-
So that was how we celebrated my mum's bday. It feels so "weird" that one year I requested not to have any bday cake for my bday since.
If I am going to have a family one day, I hope I can instilled the bday celebration mindset in it.
I mean....Who doesn't wanna feel that they are worth living and glad to be on their bday right? Not that my family doesn't think so but sometimes...It is just weird.
Hhaha.
Next Friday...My lil' bro's bday.
Don't think he would be home but still I gonna just buy something for him.
